Carrying the Cross: Grace That Gently Raises the Soul Through Patience, Hope, and the Love That Never Fails
Dear Reader,
I invite you to take hold of the image of yeast mixed into flour and warm water and doing its work of transformation, largely through the kneading of the dough!. I feel increasingly aware of that within myself, because of all the levels of change that happen and the trials that are involved. Truly the Holy Spirit of God is a ‘raising agent’ and spread out through the trials that make one more conscious of need for God’s Spirit and Ways.
This week’s nuggets encourage the right internal conditions for that continuing growth of Faith, Hope, Love and Service, despite the adverse external conditions.
It reminds me of what St Paul said, ‘Nothing can separate us from the Love of God.’

Darling child of God, be patient in waiting, and persevering with on-going work. Complete the ‘egging’ of the icon image - AFTER starting the next ‘blog’ - ‘Overcoming fear: Don’t think - DO.’ And ‘Honour God in His Saints’, and continue the small icons. Go to town tomorrow early before business.*
Be patient - Self-centred** and prayerful - for My sake and for My Kingdom. Amen
*This was during the Covid restrictions.
** Self-centred in contrast to self-centred is emphasising that Christ and the Holy Spirit are to be my focus - not the broken human will demanding things of the world, the flesh or the devil.

Be still My child. Do not despair - your faith has saved you. Let your tears be cleansing from all unrighteousness, TRUST ONLY in Me and the Father through the Holy Spirit. Forgive those who abused/abuse your goodness and body and bless them in My Name. You are Mine, and I Am yours. Be patient and faithful and wilfully Pure.

My beloved daughter, Prince of Peace draws you to His Heart and wholeness. Be patient with others, look to the Cross and forgive. You are precious in My sight and in My Kingdom. Theophany - Holiness - patience and prayer - poverty of spirit with wisdom from above,. All will be well My precious lamb. I will restore you to be a Fisher of men.
(Lord extend my boundaries - that You may be with me.’) - this refers to the Jabez Prayer 1 Chronicles 4:9-10)
Dear Reader,
In 2020 I was still learning to live with my hidden heart - so little understood the depths of self-hatred there was hidden in the trauma wounds locked in the body. The repeated assurance through the Holy Spirit, that I was loved was crucial to re-inforce my commitment to Christ when I had no ‘human’ love around me. Only in and with Christ and the Holy Spirit could I serve in Love and gentleness.
I hope you will find encouragement to find more of your purpose even with the cross you carry.
